Yerin Ha, Upcoming ‘Bridgerton’ Lead, Makes Her Fashion Show Debut at Chanel
As the lead actress of “Bridgerton’s” upcoming fourth season, Yerin Ha will have no shortage of major fashion appearances on the horizon. In advance, the Australian actress made her fashion show debut at Chanel’s fall 2025 show Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week.
“It was amazing. First fashion week show ever, period,” Ha says from her hotel room, coming down from the adrenaline after the show. “And it being Chanel, just being in that space, being with so many creative people who just appreciate fashion and that as another art form…it was stunning.”

For the occasion, Ha wore look 26 from the 2024/2025 Métiers d’art collection. Of the new collection, she was drawn to the bow detailing as well as some of the suiting. She was seated next to fellow Aussie Margaret Zhang, who she got to chat with, and met Phoebe Tonkin for the first time.
“And then was fangirling some people from afar,” she says. “I wasn’t brave enough to go and say hello. But maybe next time.”
She did get to have a brief hello with Simone Ashley, who was the lead of “Bridgerton” season two and told Ha to text if she ever needs some advice.
“It’s going so well,” Ha said of shooting season four, which she was right back to the day after Chanel. “We just finished block three and we’re heading into block four now, so the final stint of the long marathon. But it’s just been so wonderful and work has never felt like work. It’s just felt like playtime. It’s been so nice.”
Ha, who appeared in season one of the HBO Dune prequel series “Dune: Prophecy,” plays a maid named Sophie in the new season who captures the attention of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson.
“Sometimes in love you can lose part of yourself. And I think that’s what I love so much about Sophie, and she teaches me a lot actually as well, about ‘don’t change yourself for anyone,’” Ha says. “Stay true to your lane and surround yourself with people that will respect you at the same time.”
“Bridgerton” is known for lavish costumes, and Ha says fans will be excited to see the Silver Masquerade look she wears.
“The Silver Masquerade costume is probably the most extravagant because otherwise I’m in maid costumes and I’m always scrubbing floors, ironing socks and napkins and all this kind of stuff,” she says.
Before heading back to London to resume filming, she was due for a tour of Gabrielle Chanel’s former apartment, and prior to the show had gone on a tour of la Galerie du 19M.
Beyond “Bridgerton,” she is waiting to determine her next project.
“That’s the life of an actor. It’s always kind of being in the unknown,” she says. “But I’ve tried to teach myself to be comfortable in the unknown and that’s a really hard thing to master. I’m just waiting for the right project to come along. And if the timing’s right I guess then it will all work out. But I’m going to leave that up to the man above.”
