Yankee Stadium’s Major Menu Update Is a Home Run With Fans
New York Yankees fans aren’t only excited about the new season, they’re pumped for a new menu item that will be available this year at Yankee Stadium.
A post on the official MLB X (formerly Twitter) account reveals the new taste treat making its debut this year. “The Yankees will have tiramisu helmets at games this year Made with espresso mascarpone cream, lady finger cookies, cocoa powder.” The post is accompanied by a photo of the new scrumptious treat.

The official New York Yankees account responded with their own photo of the sweet treat with the cocoa powder topping being sprinkled on top.
Judging by the responses, the tiramisu helmets will be a hit with stadium goers.
“Me walking into Yankee Stadium knowing I’m about to eat some Tiramisu out of a helmet,” posted one fan along with a photo of a young smiling James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano.

“First thing the Yankees do right,” posted another.
Yet another wrote, “How many of these will end up on the field when they play the Mets?”
However, not all fans were impressed. "’Well, I wasn't thinking of going to the game, but tiramisu in an ice cream helmet changed my mind,’ said nobody, ever.”
Another added, “Spend that revenue money on better players you cheap frauds.”
“How about winning a world series? That would be a lot sweeter than tiramisu in a plastic helmet,” wrote another, who appeared to be still bitter about the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series last year.
Yankee Stadium has a number of other new food items this season, including the Original Jamaican Beef Patty and Stuffed Jamaican Beef Patty from Caribbean Food Delights, and a diverse selection of dishes from Legends at the Change-Up Kitchen, including porchetta sandwich, lobster roll and rotisserie chicken, along with Lobel’s Prime Pastrami sandwich, and Nuchas empanadas.
The Yankees home opener is Thursday, March 27 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
