Worst Dressed at Coachella 2024
A lot has been said this season about the lineup of musicians at Coachella: the ticket sales are way down, fewer big brands have set up activations — but one thing that stays as strong as ever is the sad state of fashion that the music festival keeps on delivering one year after the next.
Ultra-short jean shorts, weird netting finishes, bras and Western boots inexplicably paired together, bedazzled hats and the most random of print and color combinations are the everyday fashion hell that is Coachella. There is obviously some unspoken memo about how to dress for the desert: and we’re not sure why it involves mixing different musical eras, from Woodstock to rave and everything in between. This year brought out a lot of mullet tops and dresses, all paired with the skimpiest short shorts.

Teyana Taylor went the easy way out, by pairing the ubiquitous cowboy hat with a sheer witchy dress and denim knee-high boots.
Becky G was guilty of print and era clashing, with her plaid flannel grunge shirt, with an ultra-sexy leather bodysuit and baggy skater embroidered jeans. Another victim of getting dressed in the dark.
