Inspired by the recent wave of #10yearchallenge photos shared online, one woman has posted a side-by-side image of her own insane transformation.

And we’re going to be completely honest here – it looks like two different people.

Brookelle McKenzie, from Queensland, has been an ‘influencer’ for a very long time. She was once known as ‘Brookelle Bones’, sporting gothic black hair and heavy eyeliner.

But now the makeup artist has gone to the other end of the spectrum, sporting platinum blonde locks.

“This is actually a 14 year challenge. I was 14 years old on the left and I’m now 28,” she shared in the caption alongside the side-by-side image.

“I feel like I’m revealing my true identity. “

Her 800k Instagram followers were understandably blown away by the two completely different looks.

“Wow. that’s all I can say. Just wow,” was one comment.

“What a transformation! From rocker chick to bombshell,” another wrote.

“Doesn’t even look like the same person,” was another response.

Brookelle’s image was everywhere in the early 2000s. She modelled for a toy company called Skelanimals and was a poster child for ’emo’ and ‘scene’-minded teenagers.

“Who remembers the MySpace Brookelle? Back when everyone had Tom in their top 8 and you could put cute falling hearts on your profile page,” she wrote in her post.

“Fun fact; I used to cut my own hair (with a razor). What a time to have been alive.”

She then underwent her dramatic makeover after Myspace died.
