One man’s reaction to his wife’s pregnancy announcement is going viral.

Jake Beck and his wife, Lauren, found out they’re having a “miracle baby” after dealing with infertility for years. Lauren surprised Jake with the news by presenting him with a couple of positive pregnancy tests alongside a onesie that read “little miracle.”

In the video of Jake’s reaction, which has since amassed more than 9.2 million views, Jake immediately drops his backpack and screams.

“No f------ way,” he can be heard shouting off-camera. “No f------ way!”

Lauren then picks up the camera and shows her husband, head in his hands, sobbing with joy at the news.

The 30-second video only shows a sliver of the couple’s fertility journey. In the caption, Jake reveals he and Lauren were in the process of saving up for another round of IVF when Lauren took her tests.

After receiving a PCOS diagnosis a while back, Lauren and Jake knew that growing their family would only be possible with the help of IVF treatment.

“We did several rounds of fertility pills and then had our consultation in 2021. We were told we had less than a 0.1% chance of having a child naturally and given our diagnosis, IVF was our only option,” Jake explains to PEOPLE, noting how he worked as a travel nurse during COVID to help them save up, while Lauren took care of their dogs and continued the necessary treatments to prep. “She had over 150 needle sticks in total throughout the whole process.”

He reveals they’d initially planned to try and expand their family again in December 2024. However, an unexpected job change for Lauren put them back financially, making it unlikely they’d be able to welcome another child together until 2026 at the earliest.

With that news, Jake says the two of them “gave up on it for the time being.” The couple focused on their first son, Ryker, who was conceived successfully via IVF.

“Once we figured out how to stay afloat, we decided to just vibe and be happy in the moment and finish [2024] with nothing but love and optimism,” he continues of their plans to further expand their family. “Between August and November, we just worked and survived with each other, enjoying a few weddings, but mostly just staying home and enjoying our families.”

On Nov. 1, Lauren secretly took a pregnancy test and found out it was positive. A day later she set up the box with three positive pregnancy tests and onesie to surprise her husband with the news.

“She hid it from me for 24 hours. Even when I came home from work that day and had a mental breakdown over finances … and the stinker sat there listening to me knowing full well she was pregnant,” Jake jokes.

Since posting on Dec. 9, the couple’s pregnancy announcement has received more than 18,000 comments.

“THESE are the people that NEED to be parents,” one user commented.

“This child is gonna be LOVED LOVED,” another wrote.

“At first, I was laughing because watching the video made me happy cry, and I thought other people would enjoy that,” Jake says of his decision to share it on TikTok. “But the more I thought about it the more I wanted to share the experience that there is a chance out there even when the doctors tell you that there Isn’t one.”

“At the beginning of our journey when we were going month to month with negative tests, it was extremely disheartening,” he continues. “Seeing videos of people going through infertility always made me smile when they came out with their pregnancy reveal. So I wanted to share my experience.”

The couple is now expecting their first daughter on May 22.

“The best part about this whole thing is just the overwhelming positive notes and stories and love and affection that everyone who has commented has left,” Jake says. “You often see so much hatred and annoying, troll-like comments when it comes to things like this, but it has been overwhelmingly positive. And to see all of the other people who also have had infertility issues and are currently pregnant is so much fun.”
