Woman confronts men making fun of her for taking bikini photo

A TikTok star has been praised for the way she handled two men who were making fun of her while she posed for bikini snaps.

Samantha Longton, who goes by @samanthalongton TikTok, shared video of the confrontation, which has since gone viral.

In the video, which has been viewed over 10 million times, Samantha explains she was "trying to take a cute pic at the pool" when she heard two men "audibly making fun" of her.

In the clip, Samantha can be heard asking the men, "Did you guys want one together?" One of the men then asks her to repeat the question, she says: "Did you want one together?". One of the men then ask, "Want what?"

"A picture!" Samantha tells them, one of the men is heard saying, "Yes," so the TikToker responds, "Of course I can take one for you, do you have your phone?"

The men then say they don't have their phone, to which Samantha responds, "Oh OK, next time."

In the caption, Samantha wrote: "I’m not a confrontational gal but sometimes men just..."

She explained in a second video that the two men "stood next to the slide, faced me and started laughing".

They were within earshot with one saying, "Look at her... this is what's wrong with girls."

"I watched them shake their heads and start laughing," Samantha explained.

Viewers have applauded Samantha for standing up for herself with one user writing, "This is so brave, I'm shook."

"I can feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins," another said.

"Elle Woods vibes," someone else added.

"QUEEN! The condescension in 'next time' and everything about this is so good," one person wrote.

"They always get much less brave once confronted," another said.

"This was perfect and I'm proud of you," someone else added.
