‘Wolf King’: Netflix Unveils Teaser & New Title For Animated Fantasy Adventure Series Based On Curtis Jobling Novels
Netflix’s animated adaptation of the Wereworld books is finally getting closer, with teaser and new title unveiled as part of the streamer’s Geeked Week.
Airing next year, Wereworld will now be called Wolf King. The project has been in the offing for a while, having first been announced as part of an eight-strong European animation slate in June 2022. Check out the new trailer above.

Based on the books by Curtis Jobling, Wolf King is a fantasy adventure series that follows Drew Ferran, as he comes of age and discovers he’s the last of a long line of Werewolves, and rightful ruler of a land governed by Werelords. Drew must fight to abolish the tyranny of the Lion lords and reclaim the throne.
The series was discussed as part of Netflix’s fourth Geeked Week, which has seen a number of trailers, teasers and images unveiled including for Cobra Kai.
Wolf King is directed by Tom Brass for Jellyfish Pictures and produced by Angelo Abela, Tim Compton, Curtis Jobling and Barry Quinn for UK indie Lime Pictures.
