Winona Ryder's Keanu bombshell: 'We've been married for 25 years'

Winona Ryder and co-star Keanu Reeves are currently promoting their new film Destination Wedding, however it turns out they might have actually already been married for 25 years without even knowing it.

According to the actress, the duo’s make-believe wedding in the 1992 movie Dracula may have actually been the real deal after the scene was filmed with “a real Romanian priest”.

“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life,” the 46-year-old told Entertainment Weekly.

The bombshell not only came as a shock to us, but also to Keanu himself, who was sitting beside Winona during the interview.

Winona then tried to refresh the 53-year-old’s memory, explaining that they had filmed the entire ceremony where they both said their ‘I dos’ in front of the priest for the rom-com movie.

“Don’t you remember that? It was Valentine’s Day,” the Stranger Things star insisted.

“Oh my gosh, we’re married,” Keanu eventually agreed, as shocked as anyone would be who just found out they had been married for a quarter of a century.

While the pair likely didn’t sign a marriage certificate or use their real names in the ceremony, it sure makes for a romantic love story especially as neither of the two has married since.

In Destination Wedding, their characters bond once again after they attend a wedding as guests and realise that neither of them actually want to be there.

After clashing at first, the characters start to fall for each other, and given the news we’ve just heard, it’s fair to say fans should expect great chemistry between them.
