Wingstop Fans Say Release of 'Delicious' New Menu Item Is the 'Best Day Ever'

Not to toot my own horn, but I like to think I know a thing or two about chicken tenders. According to my highly debatable family lore, my first words were "chicken nugget" and the rest is history. Be that as it may, as early as I can remember, my palette for discerning great chicken tenders from mediocre, frozen hunks of whatever mystery chicken-like meat was placed in front of me has been finely tuned to suss out the best of the best. Maybe there’s some truth to the myth after all. It’s a skill I’ve honed over time, but honestly, I think most of us can relate.

Chicken tenders are ubiquitous, appearing on menus from local dives and diner joints to globally recognized chains, and their fan base spans from the youngest among us to the oldest. They’re relatively cheap and easy to prepare, and the payoff for the amount of work required to make them is inherently infinite. It’s no wonder Raising Cane’s and Chick-fil-A have crafted their entire business model around the humble, but oh so delicious protein. Even Wingstop is betting big on the highly popular boneless protein and news that they’ve updated their current chicken tender offering has fans on social media absolutely losing it.

The brand, known for their insanely delicious bone-in chicken wings, announced they’ve added new, crispier chicken tenders to their menu which fans can get tossed in one of their 12 finger-licking good rubs and sauces. These flavorful new chicken tenders are available nationwide and by the looks of fan reactions on X (formerly known as Twitter), these are going to be a hit.

To coincide with the launch, Wingstop is also giving away 1 million chicken tenders for free to entice fans to try them for themselves. You’ll want to hurry if you plan on grabbing a single-use coupon for yourself, though.

“Been trying for almost an hour for the free tenders 😭,” said one fan, while others shared similar sentiments. Although the website looks to be working properly now (yours truly was able to verify), there are only 500,000 coupons available and they’re going fast. Head here to grab your free 2-piece chicken tender coupon and let us know what you think.

Now that’s what we call a cluckin’ good deal.
