Is Kate having a fourth baby?
Wills and Kate are already managing a fairly large brood with three royal kids on their hands, but they could be looking at upping their workload.
There’s speculation the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could follow in the footsteps of many other royal couples and round out their family at an even four.
Royal commentator Phil Dampier told The Sun that a fourth baby was likely on the cards because of the respite a new baby would grant Kate from royal duties.
Dampier said another bub would give the duchess an excuse not to be at ‘the forefront of royal duties’ which he claims she prefers.
“I think Kate’s been interacting with the public and doing very well recently, but from what I’m told she’d rather be at home with the children,” he told the site.
There are plenty of other royal ladies who have opted for four kids with great success.
The Queen herself is of course mother to Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward and the longest reigning monarch in British history.
While each of the Queen’s children reigned their families in at two kids, Princess Mary of Denmark is also mum to four princes and princesses.
A close friend of Kate’s, Aussie Mary manages her brood of four with deceptive ease in public but we’re sure it’s a lot of hard work away from the cameras.
Mary and her husband Prince Frederick met at Sydney’s Slip Inn during the 2000 Olympic Games, and are now proud parents to Isabella, Christian, Vincent, and Josephine.
While Wills and Kate seem overjoyed with George, Charlotte and Louis for the moment, Dampier says a fourth bub could add a new dynamic to the family.
“A fourth one could mean she’d have two girls and two boys,” he told The Sun.
“This would mean a sister for Charlotte but also a child who is a similar age to Louis, so that would be a nice dynamic.”
The new revelation comes after the palace slammed rumours a plastic surgeon made on Instagram that Kate had had ‘baby botox’.
