Will Chris Hemsworth buy the hotel from The Block?
Last year’s finale of The Block saw comedian Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes splash out $3million on the winning house.
So who will be the big celebrity spender this year?
Well, the Channel Nine reality show’s hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft have a potential famous investor in mind.
“Chris Hemsworth maybe… he’s got plenty of coin,” Scott told Be at the 2018 TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday night.

Former Home & Away star Chris has his own family home in Byron Bay, where he and wife Elsa Pataky and their three children reside.
Another A-lister has recently followed suit, also spending a lot of time with the Hemsworth’s in the New South Wales coastal town.
“Matt Damon’s floating around,” Shelley told Be on Sunday.
“Matt Damon! That’s right, we’ll get him out of Byron,” Scott chuckled.
This year’s season of The Block is based at ‘The Gatwick’, a former grand hotel in Melbourne’s St Kilda, very close to amusement park Luna Park and the Palais Theatre.
It’s very different to the beach-style properties the Hollywood actors are used to, but no doubt a worthy investment according to Scott and Shelley.
“I think the building is so iconic in St Kilda, a magnificent structure and we’ve sort of brought it back to life again,” said Scott.
Last year comedian Hughesy splashed out just over $3 million on a house in Melbourne’s Elsternwick, renovated by winning couple, Josh and Elyse.
The Block will be hitting screens on Channel Nine later this year.
