Why Did Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie XO Skip 2025 Grammy Awards?
Although fans looked forward to seeing Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO at the 2025 Grammy Awards, the country singer and his wife skipped the awards show this year.
On Sunday, Feb. 2, the "Need a Favor" crooner neither walked the red carpet outside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif., nor attended the ceremony, which started at 8 p.m. ET.
Jelly Roll was nominated for two Grammys this year: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for his song "I Am Not Okay." However, he was not scheduled to present any awards nor perform.
It's possible Jelly Roll wanted to rest up before his Beautifully Broken Tour performance in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Feb. 5. He also recently performed at the Jan. 30 FireAid concert and hosted a Jelly Roll & Friends benefit concert for first responders on Feb. 1.
The country singer might have also predicted that he wouldn't win in neither of the categories in which he was nominated. Or, perhaps he simply felt under the weather.
Whatever the reason, neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie XO posted on their Instagram grids about why they didn't attend the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Jelly Roll was previously nominated for both Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his song "Save Me" with Lainey Wilson at the 2024 Grammys. Unfortunately, he didn't take home either award.
In October 2024, Jelly Roll released a new album called Beautifully Broken, debuting at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. It features his hit track "I Am Not Okay" and other popular songs, including collaborations with artists like Wiz Khalifa and Ilsey.
