Five months pregnant with her first child, Megan Gale, 38, breaks her silence on the highs and lows of her road to motherhood. From her "supportive" three-year relationship with AFL footballer Shaun Hampson, 25, to the complications surrounding conception and the recent car accident that placed Gale and their baby at risk, the model, actress and designer opens up to WHO about the intense joy and sense of vulnerability that come with pregnancy. "I just knew that becoming a Mum was part of my future, so holding on to that helped keep me positive," reveals Gale, who stars in an exclusive photo shoot at Sydney's Palm Beach. "We tried not to get disenchanted by the fact that it didn't happen immediately. Everyone says stress hinders the process, so while I was very mindful of my age, I tried to be optimistic."
