George Clooney Denies Split From Stacy Keibler
A rep for George Clooney has issued a statement slamming The Sun's recent report that ollowing a Clooney and his girlfriend of one year, Stacy Keibler have split.
'A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers,' the actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, said.
According to The Sun, Keibler, 32, a former WWE wrestler, reportedly told close friends her relationship of one year with the “notoriously commitment-shy” Clooney, 52, was over.
"Stacy hoped they would be together long-term,” a friend of Keibler’s told the publication. But, “she said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married.”
Rumour of the possible split comes after the couple spent the summer holidaying together at Clooney’s $10 million Lake Como estate, where Clooney reportedly introduced Keibler to his parents and vice versa “It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her,” a friend of Keibler’s told The Sun.
