First came love, then came marriage for Blake Lively, who tied the knot with her Hollywood beau of nearly a year, Ryan Reynolds, in a secret ceremony on September 9. But now, Blake Lively nesays she's ready to pick up a baby carriage or two – or a few dozen.
"I've always wanted a big family. Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," the actress, 25, tells the October issue of Allure, in an interview held one month before her hush-hush wedding to Ryan Reynolds, confessing "i'm happier than i've ever been."
Lively positively glows in the accompanying photos, and no wonder. The Gossip Girl actress is in demand in Hollywood, and she's in love.
"Right now, I'm so peaceful," she says. "I've never been happier in my life. It's the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, 'There's no reason today can't be the best day of my life.'"
As for why she chooses to keep a low profile in Hollywood, Lively admits "I'm a very shy person." "I can be outgoing, but I'm also very private."
"I don't drink. I've never tried a drug," says the actress. How about clubs? "The music is so loud, you can't have a conversation with somebody," she complains. "If I were an amazing dancer, yeah, I'd go, but I'm definitely not. My friend calls me a speed walker because my elbows are everywhere." She adds, "It's not like I decided on these strict lifestyle choices and I'm enforcing them. It's just something that I genuinely don't have a desire for."
That means being open to experiences, and not getting caught up in typical Hollywood obsessions – like compulsively managing one's weight.
As for her fitness routine, Lively says she doesn't have one. "I wish I could lie and say that I do something," Lively admits. "I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I'd rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South."
