'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie'

The first SpongeBob SquarePants Movie was the culmination of SpongeBob's widely beloved early seasons, as his nautical nonsense expanded into a large-scale epic adventure only fit for theaters. When Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) steals the crown of King Neptune (Jeffrey Tambor) and frames it on his archrival Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown), it's up to SpongeBob (Tom Kenny) and Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) to journey from Bikini Bottom to the perilous Shell City to get it back. Their voyage is chock-full of hilarious mishaps involving seaweed mustaches, a bounty hunter, bubble parties, monsters, and David Hasselhoff. Siri, play "Ocean Man" by Ween because we still can't get enough of this iconic 2D-animated masterpiece.

SpongeBob soaks up the third dimension in his second installment. In Sponge out of Water, a pirate named Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas) steals the Krabby Patty secret formula via a magical book. In the absence of Krabby Patties, Bikini Bottom transforms into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, eerily beating George Miller to the apocalypse punch (Sponge out of Water was released three months before Mad Max: Fury Road). To save the town, SpongeBob and his friends must go up to the human surface and confront Burger Beard. If you love The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie but not enough Squidward (Rodger Bumpass), Mr. Krabs, and Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence), then Sponge Out of Water brings the fun, particularly by its climax where they become superheroes and cause a beachside Burger Beard beat down.

SpongeBob's third venture features a tumbleweed with the face of Keanu Reeves, a cowboy zombie musical sequence with Snoop Dogg, flashbacks to being a kid in summer camp, and a Poseidon (Matt Berry) with a skin care problem. The stylish 3-D SpongeBob flick follows SpongeBob and Patrick as they travel to the lost Atlantic City to find SpongeBob's pet snail Gary, akin to the special "Have You Seen This Snail?" When their adventure goes wrong and the two end up in prison, Sandy, Squidward, Plankton, and Mr. Krabs follow SpongeBob to rescue him.

Move over SpongeBob, it's Sandy's time to shine. The Texan karate-chopping, scientist squirrel gets her own feature-length movie where she must save the day. In the Sandy Cheeks Movie, Bikini Bottom is completely scooped out of the ocean. Now it's up to Sandy and SpongeBob to travel to Texas and save their town from an evil CEO (Wanda Sykes). While on land, Sandy meets up with her extended circus family, including Randy (Johnny Knoxville), Pa (Craig Robinson), Ma, Granny, Rowdy, and Rosie Cheeks (all voiced by Grey DeLisle).
