Where to shop Kristen Bell AKA Joanne’s outfits in 'Nobody Wants This'
It's safe to say ~everyone~ in the Cosmopolitan UK office is more than a little obsessed with Nobody Wants This, the incredibly binge-able 10-part Netflix series that tells the will-they-won't-they love story of sex podcaster Joanne and rabbi Noah, played respectively by Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. From the true story that inspired the show to whether there will be a season two (please, we beg!), it's all we've been able to talk about as of late.
And it's not just the plot that has us hooked, alongside our rediscovered love for The O.C.'s Seth Cohen – IYKYK – it is Joanne's wardrobe that has us glued to the screen, wondering where all her outfits are from and if we can recreate them ourselves IRL. Well, wonder no more as we've tracked down some of her *exact* items and we're pleased to report not only are they still in stock (for now), they're also super affordable.
Yep, Joanne's style DNA sees her mix high street brands like Abercrombie & Fitch and Zara with fashion-girlie-approved labels Khaite, Christopher Esber and By Far. The result? Perfect date night outfits alongside casually cool off-duty looks. Not to mention her layered gold chain necklace stack. She really is a girl after our own hearts.

The black bodysuit
In the very first episode, Joanne is invited to a dinner party and arrives wearing her grandmother's vintage floor-grazing faux fur coat. But under the coat is this Abercrombie & Fitch long-sleeve mesh foldover bodysuit paired with black jeans and Khaite's Bambi leather belt, the very definition of 'jeans and a nice top'. Yep, we will be recreating ASAP.
The red cropped cardigan and satin midi skirt
Never have we felt more inspired to branch out of our neutrals comfort zone and embrace monochrome dressing. We're following Joanne's head-to-toe red lead and recreating her look with a cropped cardigan and satin midi skirt of our own.
The white off-the-shoulder linen dress
We know a Reformation dress when we see one! It pains us to say Joanne's exact white off-the-shoulder linen design that she wears while at Camp Haverim is now sold out, but the brand has come through with a very similar style in the form of its Butterfly dress. Dare we say we prefer the floaty sleeves and tiered hem?
The red rugby jumper
If you, like Joanne, have got your finger on the fashion pulse, you no doubt know rugby shirts are trending rn. In episode six, we see Joanne wear a rugby-inspired red and white striped knit from Siedres. Her exact top is unfortunately sold out, but this Anthropologie design is very similar!
The blue bomber jacket
We love a bomber jacket and our wardrobe is definitely lacking a denim iteration. Not for long... Joanne's SPRWMN Coco denim bomber is almost completely sold out, not to mention will set you back over £500. Luckily, ASOS has come through with a budget version.
The green jeans
In a scene with her mum and sister, Joanne can be seen rocking a comfy cosy cardigan over a striped tank top and a pair of green jeans that just so happen to be the editor-approved Marine straight-leg jeans from Zara. While the green colourway is now sold out (*sobs*) take your pick between black, blue, sand and off-white. Or, ya know, snap up all four.
The red bomber jacket
Joanne clearly knows what works for her, and bomber jackets are top of that list. We love the eye-catching red Maje short tweed jacket she wears for a coffee date with Noah. Not only is her exact jacket still in stock, it's also on sale, too! Win-win.
There's no doubt everybody wants all of this (see what we did there?) – so you better move fast!
