National Dog Day, which is today, helps raise awareness about the responsibility of pet ownership, and it celebrates dogs of all breeds and sizes. If you want to celebrate your four-legged family member, maybe it's time for you all to jump in the car and head out for a ride. According to his Instagram post, National Dog Day may be August 26, but these are deals you can get all year long, so you can celebrate your dog every day! It's important to note that not all locations participate in these deals, so you should always check before going to any of the locations.

Starbucks: You've got to start with the iconic Starbucks Puppaccino! These small cups of whipped cream for pups are usually free, and dogs love them!

Dairy Queen: Stop by DQ for a Pup Cup, which is made of soft serve that's topped with a Milkbone dog biscuit. Some locations have them for free with purchase and some charge $1.49.

Sonic: What's better for dining with a dog than a drive-in restaurant? At Sonic, you can grab a Wag Cup—small cups of soft serve—for free.

Dunkin': When you get your morning Dunks, you can also grab a 'Cup for Pup,' which is a cup of whipped cream. Some locations will give it to you for free, but others charge $1.

Chick-fil-A: This fan-favorite chain often has Milk-Bones, bone-shaped biscuits or a small cup of soft serve ready for your doggy friend.

Rita's Ice: The dog days of summer call for shaved ice, but Rita's also has treats for your furry friends. While you're there, you can pick up a Pup Cups with Milk-Bones. Sometimes they are free, but some locations do charge.

Andy's Frozen Custard: This dessert chain with locations in the Midwest and South offers free Pup Cones, which is a small sample cone with custard.

If you want to treat yourself and your dog, these are some great places to go for National Dog Day and any other time your good boy or girl needs a reminder that you love them.
