Where are they now: The stars of the Aussie kids' show Minty
It was the classic tale of two teens swapping identities, but what happened to the stars of the show?
Minty was a 1998 kids' TV show that featured actress Angela Kelly playing Australian schoolgirl and soap star Minty Sullivan as well as her lookalike British counterpart Melanie Hobson. The two meet after Melanie wins a trip Down Under and discovers that she has a famous doppelganger.
With Minty bored of her life in the limelight, the pair swap identities and learn what life is like from the other's perspective. But while they may look the same, their lives - and personalities - are very different.
The show not only featured a world of glitz and glamour, but it also had a soundtrack and music videos that the viewers loved too.
While the show was popular and ABC intended to do a follow-up series, it never happened, leaving it with just the original 13-episode series.
So what happened to the actors from the show?
Angela Kelly - Minty/Melanie
After the show finished, Angela had roles in the short film The Cherry Orchard and the South Korean film Please Teach Me English but she would be best recognised from the kid's show Bambaloo which she appeared in from 2003 to 2004.
After that, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), she moved to the other side of the camera working as a focus puller and camera assistant but there is nothing listed for her since 2006.
Damian de Montemas - Shane Conner
Damian de Montemas played Minty's co-star Shane, who plays surfer Brad in the soap opera Ocean Beach (keeping up?).
Minty was only the second on-screen acting gig for the WA actor but Damian went on to play Jason Kennedy in The Secret Life of Us, Luc in Crash Place and Henk Van Patten in Home and Away. He also features in the Sam Worthington film Transfusion this year.
While Damian doesn't share much about his private life, he was last living in Sydney with his partner Anneliese Huyser and their two children.

Peter O'Brien - Ric da Silva
Peter O'Brien played the producer of Minty's soap Ocean Beach, Ric da Silva, and was probably the most well-known star in the show. He had already made a name for himself as Shane Ramsay in Neighbours and Captain Sam Patterson in The Flying Doctors.
Of course, Peter has gone on to be one of the most prolific Aussie actors in TV and film including some roles in the American blockbuster X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the TV show Gossip Girl and the UK series Casualty.
Most recently he starred in the TV series Riptide with his wife actor Miranda Otto. The couple also have an 18-year-old daughter, Darcey.
Kim De Lury - Cameron Davis
Kim De Lury played Melanie's sweet friend Cameron, who was secretly in love with her. After Minty he continued to get work on Australian TV including roles in Home and Away, All Saints and Water Rats.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he is now an actor and teacher at St Edward's College in Sydney and has just completed his PhD at the University of Newcastle.
Vivienne Garrett - Pamela-Anne
Vivienne Garrett played Minty's agent in the show but the actress was already known for her role as rebellious teenager Rose Godolfus in the '70s TV serial Number 96.
Although originally from Sydney, Vivienne married a West Australian and moved to Perth in 1987 with their two small children. She continued acting both on stage and on the small screen.
She was most recently on screen in the 2020 homegrown feature film I Met a Girl.
