Kriv Stenders, aka: the hardest working director in Aussie cinema, delivers a powerful Vietnam movie starring none other than Travis Fimmel. Well worth checking out for fans of good war movies.

Beautiful properties, gorgeous outfits, epic amounts of sass - all designed to try and make you forget you’re watching a show about real estate agents!

Oprah Winfrey and Viola Davis, two powerful queens, having a beaut chinwag with one another. Sure to be moving and revealing for fans of either, or both, of these excellent ladies.

Better Call Saul S6 (19th)

The final season of the superb Breaking Bad spin-off begins now. Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn do such fantastic work in this amazing show and we can’t wait to see how Vince Gilligan brings it all to a close. Highly, emphatically, enthusiastically recommended.

Fear the Walking Dead S7 Pt 2 (18th)

The Walking Dead spin-off keeps on shambling like some kind of… ambulatory corpse. Walker stalkers will no doubt be delighted while everyone else is just a little perplexed.

The Invisible Pilot (19th)

Amazing three part documentary series about a pilot who unexpectedly dies by suicide… OR DOES HE? Seriously, go into this one knowing as little as possible, it’s an absolute pearler of a story.

Mayans MC S4 (20th)

The Sons of Anarchy spin-off enters its fourth season. This has flown under the radar for a lot of people but the buzz is pretty positive on this solid drama.

The Flight Attendant S2 (21st)

Kaley Cuoco returns for the second season of the dramedy about a flight attendant who gets embroiled in all sorts of shenanigans. We liked the first season, so hopefully the quality level remains high.

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (20th)

A story about romance, drama and, yes, salmon fishing in Yemen. Stars Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas.

A Very British Scandal (22nd)

There’s royal(ish) shenanigans afoot in this very engaging looking drama, starring Claire Foy and Paul Bettany. This true story gets pretty wild, hey.

Captive Audience S1 (21st)

Absolutely fascinating docuseries by the Russo Brothers, following the story of two brothers. One who became something of a hero, the other who went a very different way. Utterly compelling stuff.

Once Upon a Time In America (22nd)

Hey, you! Yes, you. Have you seen this 1984 Sergio Leone gangster classic? You haven’t? Well, why don’t you amend that situation right now, ya silly sausage. This is a genuine masterpiece.

They Call Me Magic (22nd)

Episodic biography series about the great Magic Johnson, reflecting on his long and spectacular career and the trials and triumphs that made him the man he is today. Sports nerds will rejoice.
