During an exclusive chat with PEOPLE on Feb. 12, West Wilson explained his 'make out' with Brianna LaPaglia and clarified their relationship status
West Wilson is adding more context to what really went down with Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia over Super Bowl weekend.
During The PEOPLE Interview: Boys of Summer House event on Feb. 12, the Bravo star, 28, addressed speculation surrounding his relationship with the Barstool personality, 25, after revealing they "made out."
When speaking with PEOPLE senior editor Dave Quinn during the panel, Wilson referenced the viral TikTok video posted by comedian and “street journalist” Adam Glyn, where Wilson first opened up about the romance rumors.
"That was the first time I've ever had like a TMZ ambush," Wilson jokes during the panel. "And it was at 3 a.m. and we were walking to some party and it was like one chick, one guy with their flashes on," he recalls of the interview.
During the PEOPLE Interview, Wilson recalled being "f—ked up" and "so smoked" in the TikTok clip, noting its clear when watching the video footage back.
Still, the reality star only had good things to say about LaPaglia, noting they've hung out a few times. "Yeah, it's whatever. She's super nice," he says of the influencer.

Quinn, who moderated the panel — which also featured Kyle Cooke, Carl Radke and Jesse Solomon — made Wilson clarify, "Did you make out or didn't you make out?"
Wilson jokingly replied, "No one knows."
Elsewhere in the original TikTok clip posted by Glyn, Wilson stated that he and LaPaglia were not an official couple.

“I’m not dating her,” he revealed. “We’re hanging out, like all of us here inside. But no, I am not dating her." He then admitted: “I think we made out last night. So, yeah, it’s cool. It’s good.”
LaPaglia was later asked about Wilson’s comments when speaking with Page Six, first joking, "Who? What?" She kept their relationship status vague as well, teasing she's been too busy "to think about West."
The podcast host was formerly in a relationship with Zach Bryan. They went public with their romance in July 2023 and made headlines when news of their breakup surfaced in October 2024. At the time, LaPaglia said she was “blindsided."
