Who Went Home on ‘Golden Bachelorette’ Week 2 After One Man Made Joan's Heart 'Pitter Patter'

Joan Vassos reluctantly sent six men home on last week’s The Golden Bachelorette premiere and on last night’s second episode, four more bit the dust.

But first the star of ABC' first female senior franchise shared a 1:1 date with insurance salesman Chock and danced, laughed and clapped at prom and talent show group dates where the men revealed their vulnerabilities.

We also got a peek into how well the men are settling into Bachelor Mansion. Spoiler alert: Not well. Pascal said he hadn’t done his own laundry in years, and announced that he “slept naked.” He also complained about Gregg's snoring.

What else happened in the action-packed week two with 18 men left? And who found themselves without a rose at the end?

Gary, Bob, Jonathan, Charles L., Mark, Jordan, Guy, and Keith went on a group prom date with Joan that concluded with her crowning a "prom king" who received the group date rose.

The guys dressed up in retro formal wear from the ‘70s and ‘80s and took a limo with Joan to an L.A. school.

Singer Taylor Dayne (whom Jordan revealed he'd been on a date with five years earlier) performed and Joan’s suitors danced to impress her.

The prom experience was new to Charles L., an immigrant from China, who said he'd "only dated one lady, my wife,” who had died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. His daughters had convinced him to date again.

Who got the first 1:1 date tonight on The Golden Bachelorette?

Insurance executive Chock got a date card to meet Joan at “the happiest place on earth,” which he knew was Disneyland.

Joan got off the Disneyland train to greet Chock and raved to cameras about his “beautiful blue eyes.”

They rode on Dumbo’s flying elephants, enjoyed the park and had dinner at Disneyland's 21 Royal, where Joan noted how he pulled the chair out for her like a gentleman.

Over dinner Chock opened up to Joan about his love life up until now: He got married in his 30s and had kids but they divorced. Later, he got engaged to the love of his life, Kathy, who developed brain cancer and died five months and four days after surgery.

A month into Kathy’s health crisis, she knew the end was near and urged Chock to go on with his life.

Joan told Chock that her husband, John, had also encouraged her to find love after his death.

The chemistry between the two was palpable and they both confided to cameras how much they liked the other.

“This could be the one,” he said. While she said, “He was everything I was hoping he’d be.”

Joan awarded Chock the one-on-one date rose.

Chock told cameras he felt a “pitter patter” in his heart, before the couple enjoyed Disneyland fireworks.

Joan felt “happy and hopeful” with Chock.

Dan was worried about how he would perform because he suffered from tremors, but he did a ribbon dance with shaky hands that won Joan's heart.

Joan named him the winner because he showed vulnerability—which meant he also earned a private dinner with her.

The private investor told her he came down with diabetes in 2015 and “every organ in my body was starting to fail.” A doctor said he had six months to live, but Dan recovered.

However, his health problems had made dating hard.

“We really fit well together,” Dan told Joan, who handed him the group date rose.
