Weekly tarot horoscope: Card predictions for every star sign for week ending 6th April
You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread, to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!
A general card for everyone: The Wheel of Fortune
Reinvention is this week’s theme. Neptune is moving into Aries (until October), which provokes a mini revolution in our psyche, a desire to realign ourselves with some kinda higher purpose, and let this permeate our lifestyle and outlook. We all serve something, right? The Wheel of Fortune compounds this shift or broader consciousness. Sometimes, the easiest way to trigger powerful change is to step back and get a wider perspective on your life and how you fit, deliver, and operate in the broader scheme of things. Do this. Look again. Realign with a bigger picture that you WANT to be a part of and serve it well.
Aries: The Tower
Something is going to come tumbling down in your realm this week and it’s been a long time coming. The Tower is a forceful card about unexpected revelations or events that slam into the shaky foundations of something that has been rotting a while and simply demolish it. The Universe is, in fact, even if it can feel a little painful, doing us a big favor. So, let the decaying structures come down, leaving you free to rebuild on firmer foundations and healthy ground. This is not an unhappy ending.
Taurus: The Fool
The Fool is the tarot’s first card and patron saint of new beginnings, often ones that no one really sees coming (not even you). So, expect the unexpected this week. Expect to feel a sudden and irresistible urge to do something different, wild, spontaneous, and bold. And just go for it. Don’t start deliberating or sense-checking your idea. Leap in and that first step will open up a raft of options and next steps. The path is made by walking it.
Gemini: King of Cups
Geminis are so much more emotionally intelligent than folks give them credit for. The King of Cups brings your wisdom and compassion to the foreground this week as you deal with all kinds of worried, fearful, regretful, angry, and beaten-down people. You have the magic touch. You know just how to soothe, comfort, inspire, lift spirits, encourage, and cajole. And, what’s more, it’s actually fun and rewarding. Go make your corner of Earth a happier place, Gem.
Cancer: Page of Cups
Creativity is going to be a big theme this week, Cancer, and that’s good news because you’re a naturally artistic and imaginative person. The Page of Cups invites creation, invention, and wonderment. Maybe you take a class, set to creating something magical yourself, learn a new craft, redesign your whole wardrobe, decorate your home for Spring, host and deliver a themed dinner gathering with friends. Whatever you daydream about doing, get to it and do it. This is the week for imaginative expressions.
Leo: The Devil
The Devil, eh. Well, when this card shows up you can expect a very interesting time. It’s basically a card of temptation, pathways of least resistance, bad habits which you find hard to turn away from, illicit affairs or chemistry with folks you know better than to tangle with. It’s up to you whether you fall in step with your Devil, or you fight back and walk with your Angel instead. Which will it be? A good idea is to imagine the consequences of your potential actions and figure out if you are happy to live with them or not. That might decide it for you!
Virgo: Six of Cups
Someone or something is coming back into your life. The past is awake! Don’t worry because this is a welcome return, this is a reunion that will make you smile and warm your heart. The Six of Cups provokes nostalgia and affection, a childlike playfulness, a happy memory. If you already know what you want back, then go after it. If not, then daydream about your childhood, schooling, first love, old friends, and favorite times… something will emerge as a contender for rekindling.
Libra: Five of Cups
Don’t be sad, Libra. Don’t let sorrow or regret overtake your week. Let whatever sad feeling you encounter arise, be acknowledged, and then simply released, so you can move onto the next step. The Five of Cups brings an echo from the past, an old wound, or grief. We all get these echoes of emotion, and sometimes they bring a message or new insight with them (so keen your sharp mind to probe that). But they’re not meant to stay. They’re just passing through. Heed the feeling and let it go.
Scorpion: Queen of Swords
Solo projects and enterprises are what you’re all about this week, Scorpio. It’s time to hustle. The Queen of Swords is ruthless and ambitious and uses her keen intellect to figure out cunning, shrewd schemes and tactics to get what she wants. Don’t be done to…be the doer! Take control of your realm and activate new plans, activities, dynamics, and experiments that suit and serve you first and foremost. Be more selfish. Be more self-serving. It’s time to take responsibility to make things happen like you want them to.
Sagittarius: Two of Cups
Love and romance are on the menu for you this week, Sag. Love it up! If you’re single and hopeful then look out for Water signs (Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer) who make you feel totally at ease, supported, and maybe even finish your sentences. If you’re attached, then it’s Date Night week. Organize something special and rekindle your sparks. If you’re happily solo, then date yourself, or zoom in on your BFF. It’s time to make your favorite person feel loved, needed, and appreciated (whoever that may be, even if it’s yours truly).
Capricorn: The Magician
Invention, creation, entrepreneurial schemes, artistic skills, new ideas, and magical practices are all in scope and in reach for you this week, Cap, with The Magician card in your corner. It brings Mercury energy your way, so you’ll be brimming with ideas. The trick is to get them activated and moving, the trick is to believe in what you’re visualizing and bring it to life before it evaporates with self doubt or procrastination. Jump on your own bandwagons. Leap into manifesting. Invent and innovate. Who knows what will come of it all.
Aquarius: Eight of Wands
Communication and networking are your priorities this week, Aquarius. The Eight of Wands is a busy bee, a chatty Cathy, a great talker and influencer. It’s always via "who" vs. "what" that you get new opportunities and openings. So go socialise and network and shake a few trees to see what ripe fruit there is to be had. You are likable, forthright, and authentic. Your power is largely in your physical presence, which is a gift, so take advantage and be visible. Show up and chat. You will be surprised at the outcomes.
Pisces: Nine of Swords
This is the card I draw the most for folk in readings, I think it has a universal vibe because it speaks of secret anxieties and dread. The stuff we ruminate over at 4 a.m. but don't tell a soul about. Pisces, please unburden yourself (even to the mirror or your journal) of this heaviness and dark emotion. Say out loud what is worrying you, I promise that voicing those words will lessen their power immediately, leaving you free to release the feeling and tackle the tangible root causes.
