Fans noticed a strange detail on Jenna Ortega's minidress.

Hollywood actress Jenna Ortega’s star is on the rise, after earning nominations for her performance in Wednesday at both the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards. She is quickly becoming known for her bold outfit choices, donning Versace and Gucci during this year’s awards season.

Her outfit consisted of a plunging white shirt minidress that finished mid-thigh, paired with a tailored black jacket looping around her shoulders.

She accessorised with dazzling Tiffany & Co jewellery and a set of sky-high black stilettos. To finish off her look, she opted to go with a classic red lip and let her hair frame her face in subtle waves.

Fans that spotted the strange detail were quick to discuss it on social media.

“That blue spot wasn’t there before?” one observant fan tweeted.

“THE PEN STAIN. I’M S***ING MYSELF, I BET SHE’S SO DAMN MAD RN,” another fan added.

“My poor girl trying so hard to cover up the pen stain,” a third wrote.

“Who will pay for THIS??” remarked an outraged fan.

After the premiere, Jenna brushed off the Sharpie incident in a tongue-in-cheek Instagram post. Captioning a carousel of photos showing off her look, she wrote: "SCREAM VI premiere @screammovies #tiffanyandco #sharpiestainwhogivesas**t #imsosorryolivier."

Her fans assured her that she still looked incredible even with the fashion faux pas.

“You looked so beautiful,” one person gushed.

“You look amazing Jenna, I love the outfit! Can’t wait to check out [the film],” another added.
