Snoop shared his excitement over the coaching announcement during a May 12 appearance on The Tonight Show, telling host Jimmy Fallon it’s a “great opportunity” to boast his vast music knowledge.

“If you know anything about me, you know I love music of all forms,” the rapper said. “So this is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music and, you know, to be a real coach and to really give direction to some of these artists that could be today’s next big thing.”

The Voice coaches have kept plenty busy ahead of season 26. Bublé, meanwhile, already has his next coaching gig lined up — on The Voice season 27. He’ll be joined by returning coaches Legend and Adam Levine and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini, though a premiere date has not yet been set.
