Watch the “Cobra Kai” finale trailer: 'Let's show these a--holes how we do things in the Valley'
The final five episodes of the hit "Karate Kid" sequel drop Feb. 13 on Netflix.
Forty years, seven months, and 23 days after Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) first battled it out in The Karate Kid, the rivals-turned-senseis will take things back to the Valley for one last match.
The new trailer for Cobra Kai's final five episodes — dropping Feb. 13 on Netflix — teases what's ahead for the Miyagi-Do dojo as they head back to the Valley after the deadly brawl at the Sekai Taikai in Barcelona. Though the tournament was cut short after Kwon's death in episode 10, the new trailer reveals that the Sekai Taikai is back on — but this time, it's taking place at the All Valley Sports Arena, the same place Daniel crane-kicked Johnny in the face for the win back in 1984.
Now, Robby (Tanner Buchanan), Sam (Mary Mouser), and Tory (Peyton List) will have one last chance to defeat their international rivals, Axel (Patrick Luwis) and Zara (Rayna Vallandingham). Watch the full trailer below.
Some of the Miyagi-Do students don't seem up for the challenge. "What am I even fighting for?" asks Sam, while Robby fears that Axel will just kick his butt yet again. "I gave it everything I had last time," he laments. "It didn't make a difference."
It doesn't help that both Axel and Zara are backed by Daniel and Johnny's nemesis, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), and coached by Sensei Wolf (Lewis Tan), who makes the "no mercy" approach from OG Cobra Kai sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) look like gentle parenting in comparison. But leave it to Johnny Lawrence to psych his students up with an uncouth — but effective — pep talk: "Let's show these a--holes how we do things in the Valley."
In addition to the trailer, Netflix also released new photos from the final episodes, which you can see below.
