Ashley "Millionaire" Mitchell is finally making her return to The Challenge on All Stars: Rivals, and Entertainment Weekly has your exclusive sneak peek at the former champ's arrival with the rest of the cast.

"She is the most money-winningest female ever, look at her go," host TJ Lavin announces as the cast gathers in the elimination arena at the start of the premiere. Ashley tries to brush off his praise (and lower her threat level) by responding, "You can keep that a little quiet sometimes."

But the footage that follows proves why she's such a popular — and controversial — player from her past nine appearances. "I'm myself, the good, the bad, the ugly, and with a country accent," Ashley says. Then we see a montage of some of her spiciest moments on the show, from when she threatened to lose every challenge to sabotage her own team on Champs Vs. Stars to when she stole the entire million-dollar prize from her partner Hunter Barfield after they won Final Reckoning together.

"You take me, you leave me, there's not going to be any sweat off my back," she says before asking the producers, "Is that the saying? 'Any sweat off my back?'" Classic Ashley.

What isn't shown in that montage is Ashley's last appearance on The Challenge, when she was unceremoniously kicked off the show in 2019's Spies, Lies, and Allies without any real explanation. Back in season 37, the two-time champion suddenly disappeared when it was time for her winning team to vote a player into elimination. And later at the elimination, TJ announced that Ashley was gone from the game due to her breaking a rule, but he never clarified what rule was broken or what exactly happened. After that vague non-explanation, the show moved on. (MTV declined to comment at the time on what rule Ashley violated.)

After the episode aired, Mitchell addressed her exit on social media but didn't elaborate on what "rule" she broke during filming. "Rules are rules and I respect @mtv and TJs call. The best apology is changed behavior," she tweeted, adding a heart emoji. "See you next time @challenge."

She tweeted again later that night with the prayer hands emoji: "I just want to thank everyone whose stuck with me through out this all. Everyone knows I'm only mad at myself and it has been so hard to shake off the depression and anxiety since getting home. I have been taking anger management and reflecting alot. I love you yall so much."

The Challenge All Stars: Rivals features the return of the flagship's fan-favorite theme where 26 competitors are forced to partner with their greatest enemy from seasons past to win their share of $300,000. The spinoff, which moves from Paramount+ back to MTV, premieres Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
