Vota Palooza Music Festival Sets Tour Dates & Aims To Engage Gen Z Latinos Ahead Of 2024 Presidential Election

The Vota Palooza Music Festival has set the dates for its tour across the U.S. to increase the civic participation of Gen Z Latinos and new citizens.

Organized by the Grita Canta Vota, the festival will see musical acts like Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Banda Los Recoditos, and Grupo Control perform in cities like Charlotte, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Visalia.

“Using the power of music, we’re shifting the narrative and energizing Latino communities. We’re breaking down voting stigmas and inspiring everyone—voters and non-voters alike—to become active community leaders,” said Esau Torres, Spokesperson & Co-Founder of Grita Canta Vota.

The Vota Palooza Music Festival offers free admission for those who check their voter registration, support, or volunteer for the Grita Canta Vota campaign.

Each stop of the music festival will feature the following:

• Ballot drop box on location, where permitted by law.

• El Teatro Del Pueblo: A unique open space for intimate interaction featuring entertainment & guest speakers.

• La Placita: The town’s square featuring a Voter Registration area and a Community Resource Fair.

• El Mercadito: A curated Food Market featuring top local restaurants and food trucks.

• El Tianguis: A space featuring local Arts and Crafts vendors

• La Galeria: The Art Exhibits & Creator Hubs featuring local favorites and nationally renowned Latino artists.

• La Cochera: The popular Latino celebration of car culture featuring an impressive car show.
