Yahoo Lifestyle 'Virgin River' Star Alexandra Breckenridge Admits She Has "Major Anxiety" About New Season

While we are happy to confirm it is, in fact, one of the best ways to relax, for one of the show's stars, the return of the series is causing some stress!
Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel Monroe) is reprising her starring role on Virgin River. But, in anticipation of its debut, she took to Instagram to admit she's feeling nervous. She said, "You guys, I'm having like major, major anxiety about season 6 coming out. And season 7. I have anxiety about going and filming season 7. And I just signed on to do another project in February that that I'm also really excited for but also very nervous about. And I don't know—I'm just having like life nerves, you know what I mean? Like there's a lot going on."
Then, the mom of two continued to share her worries about her other seasonal obligations: "And it's Christmas and I don't know if I've got presents for everybody and I'm like trying to check my lists off for presents but I'm trying to do press for the show. Do you know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about. This is life stuff—if you have a job and kids and you have a family, it's just like...holy crap-amole." She concluded with, "I hope you watch the show."
Fans ran to the comments section to show their support for Alexandra's honest and oh-so-relatable video. They left messages like, "It’s okay girly we are very proud of you and we love you you’ve got this ❤️," "Breathe, you can do this. VR is successful because of actors like you and the rest of your wonderful cast! Merry Christmas!" and "Everything will work out perfectly! And you’ll do an amazing job ❤️." Her costar Kai Bradbury (Denny) chimed in with, "UR A SUPERHERO ALEX ❤️"
Alexandra captioned her post, "Life anxiety, percolating. I hope you watch season six of Virgin River! But more importantly, happy holidays, everybody!!" We know we'll be tuning in, and we're sending Alexandra our warmest wishes for a restful holiday.
