The Viral Recipe That Has Me Buying King's Hawaiian Rolls Every Week

In a house with six kids, finding a weeknight meal that is easy to prepare and that everyone loves feels like striking gold. Even better? Finding one that doesn’t break the bank, which is huge considering how grocery prices seem to climb every week.

I recently saw a content creator make one of my family's favorite meals and I had to share it. This meal isn’t just a hit because it’s delicious—it’s also quick and easy to make, fitting perfectly into our jam-packed schedules. Between sports, clubs, homework and a never-ending to-do list, I don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen, as much as I'd love that. This easy dish comes together in no time, with minimal prep and cleanup, leaving me more moments to enjoy with my family (or to get a little me time).

Content creator Taylor Dalton (@taylordalton_) shared this recipe on her TikTok page and people love how simple it is. It's also absolutely delicious!

How to Make Cheeseburger Sliders With King's Hawaiian Rolls

This meal is essentially cheeseburger sliders—small, bite-sized cheeseburgers made with soft rolls. They're perfect for appetizers, snacks or quick meals, but what makes these really stand out is the fact that they're made with King’s Hawaiian rolls.

These soft, sweet, fluffy dinner rolls have a hint of buttery richness and they're my kids' favorite rolls. They have a slightly golden crust and a melt-in-your-mouth texture, making them perfect for these hamburger sliders.

To make the sliders, you'll need King's Hawaiian rolls, ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, mayo, butter, sliced cheese, shredded cheese and sesame seeds.

Cook the meat with the seasonings and drain the grease once it's browned. Put it back in the skillet, add mayo and mix well. Put the rolls on a foil-lined baking sheet and slice the entire pack of rolls horizontally.

Put the sliced cheese on the bottom portion of the rolls and top that with the ground beef mixture. Add shredded cheese on top of the meat and cover with the top portion of the rolls. Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.

Bake the sliders at 350° for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melty. I serve mine with a side of pickles and some veggie straws, and my kids love them!

Every time I make this, everyone walks away from the table happy and full, and I stay within budget and on schedule. It's a win all around! You'll want to add this one to your dinner rotation right away!
