'The View's Sunny Hostin Questions NFL's 'Fishy and Shady' Super Bowl Decision
Sunny Hostin is weighing in on the NFL's recent decision to change the Super Bowl end zone slogan.
Since 2021, the end zone at the Super Bowl has read "End Racism," but the NFL recently announced a change ahead of the big game in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9, which will instead feature an end zone with the words "Choose Love" and "It Takes All of Us."
And Hostin, for one, believes it has something to do with one high profile fan who is expected to be in attendance—none other than President Donald Trump.
"I think it's a little fishy and shady," Hostin, 56, said during the Friday, Feb. 7 episode of The View. While noting that the NFL said the decision to remove the "End Racism" slogan didn't have anything to do with Trump's attendance, Hostin wasn't so convinced.
As Hostin explained, the NFL spokesperson said "the decision was based on sensitivity to recent tragedies, including the terrorist act in New Orleans, the deadly wildfires in LA and the fatal air collision near D.C."
"I think that those are very noble things to honor and discuss, but I don't know how 'Choose Love' and 'It Takes All of Us' relates to that," she continued.

"It seems to me like the 'End Racism' probably has a lot to do with the fact that the sitting president is [going to be] there," Hostin said in reference to Trump, who has already made several moves to roll back DEI efforts across the country since taking office last month.
But according to Hostin, she believes racism in this country is "not over."
