Joy Behar on 'The View' ; Donald TrumpThough she recently admitted that she'd never engage in the art of interplanetary travel, The View cohost Joy Behar revealed on Wednesday's episode that she wishes Donald Trump purchased a rocket from Elon Musk — six days after one of the latter's SpaceX crafts exploded in space last week.
Oscar-winning actress and View moderator Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the talk show's latest edition with a Hot Topics conversation about a Tuesday event at the White House, which saw Trump select a new Tesla car in support of the struggling public image of his political ally's vehicular company.
Toward the end of the discussion, Behar, 82, attempted to make a joke about Trump, Musk, and very specific modes of transportation — a quip that prompted two of her cohosts to jump in and advise her against making the remark.
"I would have preferred, instead of buying a Tesla, he would've bought a rocket from Elon and go into s..." Behar said, trailing off just ahead of saying the word that began with the letter "s," as she raised her right arm up into the sky above.
"Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it, don't do it," Goldberg advised, looking off-camera as she repeated the warning. Fellow panelist and legal expert Sunny Hostin also jumped in, telling Behar, "No, no" while also looking off-camera.
Goldberg then threw the show to a commercial break while the audience applauded.

Elsewhere in Behar-related space news, the cohost appeared on Tuesday's episode of The View's companion podcast, Behind the Table, on which she highlighted fellow TV personality Gayle King's upcoming space journey alongside a crew of all-female celebrities that also includes Katy Perry.
"I saw a thing on social about that. She's scared," Behar said. "Why is she doing it?"
