Victoria Beckham Reveals What She Did to Her Nose: 'A Lot of People' Speculating

Victoria Beckham is shutting down rumors that she has had plastic surgery work done on her nose.

During a Dec. 16 appearance on The Today Show to promote a new drop from her makeup brand, Victoria Beckham Beauty, the British fashion designer responded to speculation about whether she’s had a nose job, attributing the rumors to her “clever contouring" method. She says makeup techniques, not surgery, are behind the perceived changes in her nose.

"I like to draw," she said on the segment, referring to her makeup process. "I have to say, there’s been a lot of people in the past that have said to me that I’ve had some kind of surgery on my nose. I have never, ever, ever, ever ... No, never. It’s clever contouring."

"Clever contouring" is not a new technique for Beckham. In a Jan. 13 video posted jointly to her personal Instagram and the Victoria Beckham Beauty Instagram, the former Spice Girl, 50, demonstrated the proper way to use the Victoria Beckham Beauty Contour Stylus from her brand.

"I always start by slimming down my nose," the star said in the video, taking the contour pen to her face. "So I'm literally going to draw two lines down either side of my nose to really shade down the sides."

"What this is going to do, is when I blend it with my nose or my fingers, it's going to give the illusion of a longer, straighter nose," she explained.

In a 2022 video with beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury, the pair demonstrated a similar nose-slimming makeup technique using some of Tilbury's products.

"People have also said that I’ve had a nose job," Beckham said in the video. "Never had a nose job. Always had a nose like this. It is the nose trick."

And it looks like Beckham's makeup skills are hereditary.

In a Nov. 6 TikTok post to the pop icon's TikTok account, Beckham's daughter with her husband, David Beckham, Harper Seven, took fans behind the scenes of her makeup routine as she got ready to present her mom with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.

The teen presented her mom with the award for Beckham's work on her makeup brand, Victoria Beckham Beauty, which she launched in 2019.

According to the Daily Mail, Harper raved about her mom in her presentation speech, saying, "The winner is someone I have always looked up to. She’s built an incredible business from the ground up and has shown me the value of working hard, dreaming big, and setting my standards."
