Vera Wang, 73, flaunts legs in platform heels: 'Not a day over 30'

Fashion designer Vera Wang has left followers floored with her latest Instagram snap, with many saying the 73-year-old looked incredible for her age. Posing on an outdoor chair in a designer outfit, she showed off her slender figure as she stared into the distance.

The designer stunned in her outfit, made up from pieces from her own line, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. She opted to leave her shoulders bare and wear a fringed jacket, as well as a silver bucket hat with a matching bag.

Vera’s long legs were on show and she chose to don a pair of extremely tall, white and strappy Valentino platform heels. To finish off her look, she left her makeup light and her straight hair framed her face neatly.

“A little PRE-HOLIDAY #PRADA / #LV / #VW / #Givenchy / #VALENTINO on the boardwalk! Then a chic cocktail. Then xmas,” she wrote in the caption.

Her friends were quick to send holiday wishes, with Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan saying: “Merry Christmas Vera!!!”

“Happy Holidays Vera,” added supermodel Beverly Johnson.

Vera’s followers shared their disbelief at how young she looked in the comment section, with many labelling her as “stunning” and “beautiful”.

“I just know you have a portrait in the attic, Vera Wang — how can you never age?” one fan asked.

“Vera!!! You are gorgeous. Not a day over 30! Merry Christmas,” another added.

“OMG. [You] look so young,” a third chimed in.

Others couldn’t believe how tall her heels were, with a fan saying she was a “platform queen”.

“Vera honey the shoes are just giving me lifeeeeee!” a follower gushed.

“Brave [soul] walking in those skyscrapers, they do look great on you,” a third added.

“Did you have to have social safety training to walk in those shoes?? They look amazing — and amazingly high!” asked another.
