Venus Williams Pops in Yellow Knit Dress for Lacoste Show During Paris Fashion Week
Venus Williams favored a bright knit look for Lacoste’s show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. The seven-time Grand Slam singles champion was among the front row guests for the clothing company’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear show.
For the occasion, Williams opted for a knitted dress in a bright, bold shade of yellow. The sleeveless dress featured a halter and plunging neckline with visible ribbing. While the bodice of the maxidress featured a fitted silhouette, Williams’ skirt flowed freely.

The venerated and decorated athlete accessorized her look with a gold chain necklace, yellow shoes and carried a green tote bag with the clothing company’s signature crocodile logo in shades of green, red and yellow.
Lacoste, the official dresser for tennis stars like Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev, previously collaborated with Williams on her EleVen by Venus brand. The collaboration launched in November 2023, featuring variations of apparel items.
Williams also starred in the Lacoste x Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc collaboration collection last May. The tennis star posed in pieces from Lacoste on the iconic French hotel’s tennis courts to launch the collection, wearing crisp, classic tennis whites.
The Lacoste label was founded by tennis player René Lacoste in 1923. Over the course of the last several months, tenniscore became a major fashion trend.
Not only are tennis kits and on-court styles receiving more coverage, thanks in part to the trailblazing style of Serena and Venus Williams and current tennis stars like Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka, the trend made its way to the red carpet in a major way this past year.
Zendaya, star of the film “Challengers,” which takes place in the highly competitive tennis world, gave tenniscore styling a runway edge thanks to the actress’ press tour fashion choices, which ranged from Loewe, Louis Vuitton and more.
