Disney star shares sultry swimsuit snaps post-breakup

Former child star Vanessa Hudgens has taken to Instagram with snaps she’s calling ‘thirsty Thursdays’ in the wake of her breakup.

The High School Musical star split from boyfriend of eight years Austin Butler earlier this year and has since wasted no time in showing the world she is doing a-OK.

The 31-year-old shared a number of sizzling snaps to Instagram on Thursday, posing in a black one-piece alongside some very risqué captions.

“#thirstythursday y’all lol I don’t really have many pics that qualify so not sure how long this will last but for now, we wet,” she wrote.

Fans were quick to flood the pictures with praise for the star, over one million of them liking the powerful picture.

“Yes girl,” wrote one.

Another simply wrote, “Woah”.

“You’re the perfect woman and we love you,” admitted another.

Vanessa’s split from Austin was announced by People Magazine, who reported the duo had discussed marriage and remained amicable.

“They really loved each other and have been through some of their toughest life moments together,” a source told the celebrity magazine.

Vanessa quickly deleted the plethora of photos of herself and Austin from her personal accounts after the news broke.

Now, she’s replacing them with a slightly more daring approach to self-documentation.

Last week a trip to a tattoo artist was documented on the singer and actress’s Instagram.

Showing off fresh ink of a colourful daisy on her side, the star made her first reference to the weekly ‘thirsty’ series, and it seems fans are all too keen for the trend to continue.
