Valerie Bertinelli Fans Praise 'Smoke Show' Actress, 64, for Underwear Mirror Selfie

Valerie Bertinelli is showing her fans what radical self-love looks like.

While sharing an important message about accepting her body as she ages, the 64-year-old actress snapped a mirror selfie wearing nothing but underwear to prove she isn't afraid to flaunt her all-natural bod.

In the photo posted to Instagram on Monday, Dec. 2, the One Day at a Time alum smiled in the mirror while sporting a black bra and underwear, flashing her bare tummy and going totally makeup-free for the snap.

In her caption, Bertinelli alluded to unspecified challenges or "madness" that her body has gone through recently, though she didn't elaborate. Instead, she said she's focused on "acceptance and simple appreciation" for every part of her body.

"At some point I will talk about the madness my body has been through this year," she wrote alongside the post. "But right now every lump bump wrinkle and saggy part of me just feels acceptance and simple appreciation to be standing in front of a mirror in a hotel bathroom in downtown Manhattan ready to color my roots late on a Monday night."

Bertinelli's fans were eager to applaud her for sharing the vulnerable post, including several of her fellow Hollywood stars who took to the comments to express their praise.

"You look great! ❤️," Kristin Chenoweth added.

"You go girl!!!🔥🔥👏👏😍😍🙌," one of Bertinelli's fans gushed in the comments, while another person declared the actress a total "Smoke Show" in the snap.

"Gorgeous!!!" someone else wrote under the unfiltered photo, adding, "Love that you do your own roots!!! Mad respect for you!!"
