TVLine Items: Julianne Nicholson Joins Hacks, Nobody Wants This Season 2 Castings and More
Julianne Nicholson won’t be off our TV screens for too long.
The Paradise standout is one of 13 guest stars set to appear in Season 4 of Max’s Emmy Award-winning comedy Hacks, the streamer announced Tuesday. The list also includes Michaela Watkins (Casual), Bresha Webb (Run the World), Robby Hoffman (Verified), Eric Balfour (The Offer), Danny Jolles (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Gavin Matts (Ramy), Grover Whitmore III (The African Desperate), Holmes (Welcome to Flatch), Jasmine Ashanti (Upload), Katy Sullivan (Dexter: New Blood), Matt Oberg (Abbott Elementary) and Sandy Honig (Three Busy Debras).

* Nobody Wants This Season 2 has added the following recurring guest stars, per Deadline: Arian Moayed (Succession) as Dr. Andy, “a charming, highly regarded (particularly by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Joanne’s sister Morgan,” and Alex Karpovsky (Girls) as Big Noah, “an overly confident rabbi at Noah’s temple.”
* Steve Carell (The Office), Jason Schwartzman (Bored to Death), Cory Michael Smith (Gotham) and Ramy Youssef (Ramy) will star in Succession creator Jesse Armstrong’s as-yet-untitled HBO movie about a group of billionaire friends who get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis. The film will premiere this spring (date TBA).
* Rachel Weisz (Dead Ringers) will headline the Netflix limited series Vladimir, adapted from Julia May Jonas’ acclaimed novel of the same name. Per the official logline, “as a woman’s life unravels, she becomes obsessed with her captivating new colleague. Full of sexy secrets, dark humor and complex characters, Vladimir is about what happens when a woman goes hell-bent to turn her fantasies into reality.”
* Netflix has released a trailer for Survival of the Thickest Season 2, which returns with eight new episodes on Thursday, March 27:
