Trump's Biggest Flip-Flop Leads To A Fact-Check For The Ages From Jordan Klepper

Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper on Wednesday night pointed out that President-elect Donald Trump, who tried to ban TikTok during his first term in office, is now trying to stop a ban from taking effect.

“You’ll never guess why he had a change of heart,” Klepper said, then rolled footage of Trump bragging that TikTok helped him win the youth vote in November’s presidential election.

In one clip, the president-elect claimed he won young voters “by 34 points.” In another, he said he “won the young people by 36 points.”

Klepper was ready with a fact-check.

“If you’re wondering whether Trump won the youth vote by 34 points or 36 points, the answer is he lost the youth vote by 11 points,” Klepper said. “Slight discrepancy.”
