Triumph The Insult Comic Dog Burns Trump Fan With Fake Apology Punch Line
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog pulled no punches when talking with Donald Trump supporters outside the former president’s controversial Madison Square Garden rally over the weekend.
The “Daily Show” puppet ― aka Robert Smigel ― cracked gag after gag about the Republican nominee.
At one point, he fake apologized to a man, “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to insinuate that Trump is out of his mind.”
Then came the punch line: “I’m stating it bluntly. Trump is out of his mind.”
Triumph raunchily mocked Trump’s debunked claim that Haitian immigrants are eating the pets of people in Springfield, Ohio, when he told a Black woman: “I gotta say, it’s a nice crowd but a lot of angry white guys, you got to admit. What do you think is less likely? That Haitians are eating cats or any of the guys here have ever eaten pussy?”
And he also taunted a Trump fan wearing what appeared to be a bloodstained shirt, in apparent honor of the assassination attempt on the former president, saying he’d almost worn the same garment until his “meds kicked in.”
