Yahoo Lifestyle 'Just Poison' And 'Inedible': Donald Trump's Diet Gets Totally Cooked By Top Ally
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t sugarcoat his review of Donald Trump’s diet during an interview on “The Joe Polish Show” this week.
“The stuff that he eats is really, like, bad,” said Kennedy, the anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who ditched his own independent presidential campaign to endorse Trump and who the president-elect has promised will be allowed to “go wild on health” during his second term.
“Campaign food is always bad,” Kennedy acknowledged.
“But the food that goes onto that airplane is like just poison,” he continued. “You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice — you’re either given KFC or Big Macs. That’s when you’re lucky and then the rest of the stuff I consider kind of inedible.”
Trump cosplayed as a McDonald’s worker during the 2024 election campaign and, during his first term, circumvented a government shutdown by serving a fast-food buffet to the national champion Clemson University’s football squad.
Kennedy in the interview also referred to Trump’s love of Diet Coke, noting how longtime Trump ally Dana White (of Ultimate Fighting Championship fame) once told him he’s “never seen Trump drink a glass of water.”
It’s currently unclear how Trump intends to allow Kennedy, who has no medical training, to wield his influence over the health of Americans.
