Trevor Noah fans go wild as he announces Australian tour: 'Waited so long!'

Trevor will be returning Down Under for his Off The Record Tour this year.

Trevor Noah's Australian fans have gone nuts after the South African comedian announced he will be returning Down Under for his Off The Record Tour this year.

The comedian has previously sold out three tours of Australia and will be visiting Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in August. He will also make a stop in Auckland, New Zealand.

Aussie fans share excitement over announcement

Taking to social media, Trevor shared the announcement with the caption, "I’m excited to announce 8 new countries to my #OffTheRecordWorldTour!!! 🙌🏽🔥 You can signup now on my website to get the early ticket code as presale starts tomorrow!! I truly can’t wait to get back!"

Fans were excited by the news, with one Instagram user writing, "Can’t wait to see you in Melbourne!"

"The BEST news 🦘🦘🦘," another Aussie wrote, while a third said, "YAY!!!!!!!!!! You’re coming to Sydney!!!!! 😍😍😍😍."

"See you in Melbourne Trev!" someone else wrote.

Others were left upset that he isn't visiting Adelaide, with one user writing, "He’s not coming to Adelaide 😭."

"Dude!!! What happened to Adelaide, Australia?" another said.

When is Trevor Noah coming to Australia?

Trevor will visit Sweden, Denmark, France, German, the Netherlands, and New Zealand before he arrives in Australia later this year.

His Aussie dates are as follows:

  • Brisbane (Brisbane Entertainment Centre): November 8, 2024

  • Perth (RAC Arena): November 11, 2024

  • Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena): November 14, 2024

  • Sydney (Qudos Bank Arena): November 20, 2024

Tickets for Trevor's Off The Record Tour will be available to purchase from Ticketek on Friday 9 February at 10am, but there are also several presale options, with fans able to access tickets on Thursday 8 February from 9am to Friday 9 February 8am.

A presale code can be found here on Trevor's website, but won't be available until Thursday.

Who is Trevor Noah?

Still unsure who Trevor Noah is? Well, he's only one of the most successful comedians in the world and was the host of The Daily Show from 2015 until 2022, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Talk Series earlier this year.

He also hosted the Grammy Awards this week (for the fourth time), with fans absolutely loving his ability to get laughs without being mean (unlike Golden Globes host Jo Koy!).

Trevor's comedy covers a wide range of topics from race, his childhood in South Africa, current events and more.

Trevor has been linked to a few famous faces, most recently he was rumoured to be dating influencer Zoe Mabie, and in 2022 he was seen on a date with Dua Lipa. His longest relationship before that was with Minka Kelly, whom he dated from 2020 to 2022.
