Don’t expect to see Taylor Swift wearing her cardigan at a fall wedding.

Travis Kelce made his opinion on wedding seasons very clear on the Wednesday, Jan. 8 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce.

When a caller asked the pair about the idea of a fall wedding interfering with football season, Travis, 35, and Jason, 37, had two different takes on the situation.

“I actually don't know people who've gotten married in the fall,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared, “because all the weddings I've been to and all my friends always do it in the summer.”

Travis then light-heartedly urged the caller and his girlfriend to figure out a compromise, noting, “You gotta be willing to find a weekend where the team isn't playing anybody good maybe."

"Also, if you really do have a problem with that, maybe it's in her best interest to not have it in the fall so that she knows you're invested in the anniversary every time it comes around. I think you guys should duke that out.”

The NFL star, who has been dating Swift since 2023, ultimately said he didn't think the fall is a good time to get married.

“I've seen weddings in f--king February. I've seen weddings everywhere but the fall,” Travis said. “So I'm not sure if the fall was a good wedding season.”

Jason, who has been married to Kylie Kelce since 2018, disagreed, saying that any future groom should prioritize his bride over his sports team.

“Brother, I'm gonna tell you right now. Do the fall and the wedding and avoid this frivolous fight that means absolutely f--king nothing,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center urged the caller.

“You can watch the football game another [time], like, record it and watch it again. Like, I don't know what you want me to say. There's certain things that are more important than football, and if the wedding isn't more important than football, we got some bigger issues here.”

Travis stood firm in his anti-fall stance, noting, “Don't make my friends have to not go. Everybody's got season tickets. Alright? Don't make my friends have to choose whether or not they have to sell their tickets that week.”

Jason, who is currently expecting his fourth child, struggled with that outlook, adding, “There's a lot more important things than football, and weddings happen to be one of them. And not arguing with your wife is high up there with more important than football. So I would just do the wedding whenever she wants to, because that's kinda your job now.”

Holding steadfast in his take, Travis jokingly ended the discussion by quoting Ted Lasso’s Dani Rojas, declaring: “Football is life!”
