Taylor Swift quietly stepped into her latest era over the weekend, kicking off her 35th birthday on Thursday, December 12, with a visit to a Kansas City children’s hospital before reportedly enjoying a low-key celebration with boyfriend Travis Kelce on Friday night.

While Swift’s 35th celebration might have looked a little different than last year's star-studded bash, sources say that the Kansas City Chiefs player went all out and no expense was spared to make the “Blank Space” singer’s big day feel special. Kelce reportedly spent $175,000 on extravagant gifts for Swift, indicating just how “intense” their relationship has gotten over the past year.

In a nod to her milestone birthday, the athlete made a sweet gesture by sending the star 35 bouquets from the floral brand The Million Roses, a source close to the pair’s friends told The Sun. Per the insider, the tight end spent $19,325 on just flowers in total, thanks to 15 boxes of red roses, 10 boxes of black and red roses together, and 10 boxes of neon rose gold roses.

In addition to putting together a special “memory garden” for the occasion, Kelce went big with $155,200 worth of luxury jewelry. One year after Swifties speculated that the athlete got her a Midnights-coded blue and opal ring for her 34th birthday, the Super Bowl champion upped the ante with a $60,350 rose gold Day-Date 36 Rolex, as well as sets from Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra line.
