Travis Kelce Headed to Chiefs' Training Camp After Busy Summer with Taylor Swift

Kelce attended several of Swift's international Eras Tour stops; the couple also vacationed in the Bahamas and Italy this year

Travis Kelce is stepping back into his football era!

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, is headed to training camp in Missouri after a whirlwind summer with Taylor Swift, also 34.

According to the NFL team's official website, the open practices at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph run from Sunday, July 21, to Thursday, Aug. 15.

While the Chiefs' first preseason game will be against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, Aug. 10, the team will begin its regular season on Thursday, Sept. 5, with a game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The upcoming season is one Kelce and his teammates are highly anticipating after winning their second-consecutive Super Bowl in February (and their third Super Bowl win in five years).

Apart from the Chiefs beating the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22, the 2024 Super Bowl was the most-watched telecast in U.S. history, with more than 123 million viewers tuning in.

Kelce immediately declared his goal of getting a three-peat right after the win, announcing during the Vince Lombardi trophy ceremony, "The goal [has] always been to get three. Believe it baby, we're gonna be here next year."

He reiterated the same sentiments during an episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce in March, saying: "As 92 percenters, you know we love speaking things into existence, just manifesting life on this podcast, I'm gonna win another Super Bowl. Just some of the things we like to say around here ‘cause it’s possible."

While Swift managed to attend 13 of Kelce's games last season, the two took the summer to spend some more time together.

In addition to the football tight end attending her worldwide Eras Tour 14 times, the couple embarked on a vacation in the Bahamas in March and a romantic getaway in Italy in May.

Kelce has also used the time to take on some new business ventures, including hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, and filming the new Ryan Murphy series Grotesquerie.

While he and Swift continue to have busy schedules, a source recently told PEOPLE "They really are very, very happy together."
