Travis Kelce Is Apparently Growing Out His Hair for Taylor Swift

His teammate, Patrick Mahomes, spilled the beans.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem to be irrevocably in love, but there is one thing the global pop star wanted to change. Well, according to Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes, that is. During a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, the Kansas City Chief's quarterback revealed that Kelce's—who usually sports a buzzcut or short fade—new longer hairdo is all because of Swift.

"I've been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it," joked, putting his teammate on blast.

Although Swift encouraged her boyfriend to let his hair grow out, his barber Patrick Regan once told Fox News that the Grammy-winner was also a fan of the short look.

"Taylor loves the haircut," Regan said. "She has watched me cut his hair a bunch of times and always compliments it after."

The football star has also recently reintroduced a mustache, a callback to the facial hair he had at the time he and Swift started dating. Kelce, himself, even alluded to the fact that Swift was won over by the look.

“I’ll tell you what that ‘stache and the 87 jersey was pretty iconic there for a bit," Kelce said during a press conference in October 2023. "I had it when I met Taylor for the first time."

Kelce spent his summer jet-setting around the world to see Swift perform her Eras Tour, traveling to Paris, Ireland, Germany, and Amsterdam. He even made a surprise cameo during one of her London shows when he joined her on stage during the The Tortured Poets Department portion of the show. As the tight-end prepares for the 2024 NFL season, Swift is back in London for the second leg of her shows at Wembley Stadium.
