Travis Barker Visits Late Mom Gloria’s Memorial: ‘I Wish Heaven Had Visiting Hours’
The Blink-182 drummer's mother died in 1990 when he was 12
Travis Barker is remembering his late mom Gloria.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, the Blink-182 drummer, 48, shared multiple photos on Instagram after visiting Gloria's memorial plaque.
Two images showed Travis with his back to the camera, wearing a black and white FTP x Famous Stars and Straps shirt and kneeling down to honor his late mom, who died on Sept. 3, 1990, when he was 12. Gloria had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Sjögren's syndrome just a few months earlier.

Another image focused on the sun in the sky, while a third shot showed Gloria's name written alongside her husband Randall's on the memorial plaque.
"Devoted wife [and] mother," a message read.
Travis captioned the post, "I wish heaven had visiting hours."
The musician's wife, Kourtney Kardashian, 45, was among those commenting on the post, writing, "She must be so proud of the man you are 🕊️❤️."
Atiana De La Hoya, 25 — daughter of Travis' ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 49, and Oscar De La Hoya — also responded with a white love heart emoji.
Travis spoke about his parents Randy and Gloria enrolling him in drumming lessons as a kid in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say.
“My dad drove us, and my mom always sat in the room and taped the lesson. She learned how to read music and hold the drumsticks right; if I didn’t understand something I could always go to her,” he wrote.
While speaking with Vice in 2015, Travis noted how "important" his relationship with his dad was after his mom died.
The drummer was also asked about he and his dad both getting the word "pal" tattooed, which he noted was inspired by the name they've called one another through the years.
Travis said at the time, "It was funny, ‘cos growing up he said 'If you ever get a tattoo, I’m gonna kick your ass and kick you out of the house.' But many years later – 20 years – Pops had some tattoos of his own. It’s awesome."
"My mum passed away when I was 12, so my relationship with him is so important. He works alongside my business mergers. He helps me pay bills, keeps me organized. I speak to him every morning like clockwork. It’s always good to have a parent there to keep you humble, keep you grounded," he told the outlet.
