5 of the most Insta-worthy stays in NSW
After becoming very familiar with the four-walls of your house, it’s finally time to book a holiday away - so, why not make it one worthy of your Instagram feed.
To help you out, we’ve collected five of the most photogenic and Insta-worthy holiday stays across NSW that are ready for your next captionable getaway.
1. Kimo Estate, Gundagai
The three architecturally designed eco huts at Kimo Estate are perched high on a 2,833 hectare farm just outside Gundagai, four hours’ drive southwest of Sydney.
JR’s is the original eco hut and provides an Australian country experience for the style conscious.
Fergo’s is nestled into a hillside with a fire pit, and Sweeney’s is at the highest vantage point of all overlooking the Murrumbidgee River.
For an extra touch of luxury — and Instagrammability —all three huts boast a wood-fired hot tub.

2. Ocean Farm, Gerringong
The luxury four-bedroom, four-bathroom Ocean Farm holiday house is, of course, located on a working farm overlooking the ocean.
You’ll find it outside the South Coast town of Gerringong, a two-hour drive south of Sydney.
The interiors of the spacious house are lovely, but you’ll be jostling for position to get just the right shot when you see the serene infinity pool looking out over lush green slopes to the Pacific Ocean.
3. The Shed at Broger’s End, Kangaroo Valley
For a photogenic Aussie farmstay experience, look no further than The Shed at Broger’s End in Kangaroo Valley, just two hours’ drive south of Sydney.
The old machinery shed at the Broger’s End farm has been spectacularly restored with recycled materials into a three bedroom haven with French doors, velvet chairs and alfresco dining space.
You can collect your own eggs from the free-range chickens, and did we mention there’s an outdoor bath?
4. Milton Park, Bowral
Milton Park has that grand manor charm typically reserved for the English countryside, and indeed the conversion of the homestead into a boutique hotel by two doctors in 1984 was inspired by their love of the great country hotels of Europe.
It stands serenely in grounds of cypress-lined drives, wisteria archways and bluebell fields, and boasts an oft-photographed ivy-covered pool house with French villa-style detailing.
5. Sierra Escape, Mudgee
Deep in Mudgee wine country, a 3.5-hour drive northwest of Sydney, Sierra Escape is a breathtaking property with three five-star tents to escape from the world for a while.
The glamping huts are luxurious and spacious with wooden floors, huge comfy beds, indoor bathtubs and fire pits.
The Dulili and Uralla tents also have an outdoor tub, and the Carinya tent is due to get one too.
The hardest part? Choosing between them.
