Lewandowski latest
09:54 , Alex Young
Robert Lewandowski has stepped up efforts to leave Bayern, with Barcelona keen on signing him.
The striker is keen to find a solution as soon as possible, suggesting that players may be put off joining Bayern if they fail to show him respect when leaving.
Talking to Polish outlet Onet Sport, he said: “I just want to leave Bayern. Loyalty and respect are more important than the work. The best thing to do is find a solution together. They didn't want to listen to me until the end. Something died inside me - and it's impossible to get over that. Even if you want to be professional, you can't make up for it.
“During so many years at the club I was always ready, available, despite injuries and the pain, I gave my best. I think the best thing to do is to find a good solution for both sides. And not to look for a one-sided decision.
"I’m not looking for a unilateral solution, that makes no sense, not after so much time, after such a successful era and with my will and support.
"What kind of player will want to go to Bayern knowing that something like this could happen to them? Where are the loyalty and respect then? I was always been ready, I spent eight nice years here, I met wonderful people and I would like it to stay that way in my mind."

Klopp on Milner renewal
15:16 , Matt Verri
Jurgen Klopp has revealed details behind some of the conversations he held with James Milner before the midfielder signed a new Liverpool contract on Monday, vowing there is “more to come” from the veteran.
“Typically, the discussions we had around extending his contract were centred on: what kind of contribution do we see him making as a player?” Klopp told the club’s official website.
“My answer to him was the same I’ll share with supporters: we don’t limit it. We just want the same from him again, because that’s not possible to replace. He can still do it and we still need it.
“So I’m grateful he answered the call and agreed to give us the extra year of his extraordinary career. More to come.”

After scoring a hat-trick for Senegal against Benin, Mane was asked which of those two clubs he will join but he jokingly provided a third option.

However, responding to an article suggesting his time at the club could be coming to an end, Icardi took to Instagram to reveal his plans to stay in Paris.
“My career’s under threat?” he wrote. “I still have two years left on my PSG contract. It doesn’t seem to be unlike what has been written.

Kranjcar: Perisic has no weakness
13:04 , Matt Verri
Niko Kranjcar has backed fellow Croatian Ivan Perisic to be a huge success at Tottenham after his summer move.
“I think everything that they expect and believe he will bring, they will get with him,” Kranjcar told the club’s official website.
“I must admit, for me, along with Luka (Modric), he is probably the biggest reason that the Croatian national team has had the success it has had because his goals, assists and his ability to make a difference in the final third is something that the team has relied on.
“He is a proven threat in the final third. He is quick with both feet. His strike is phenomenal with both feet. He has a great physique. He is a true professional and, to be fair, I can’t think of anything that would hinder him from showing all of his qualities at Spurs and in the Premier League.
He added: “He is an all-round player that really doesn’t have much of a weakness.”

“I don’t need to explain what kind of talent and player he is. How important he is to us.
“What he shows from the start though is unbelievable. Of course, as a teammate, I hope he stays for another year. I cannot influence that.
“I can only say that Ajax must do its best to keep him.”

De Ligt undecided on future
11:44 , Matt Verri
Matthijs de Ligt has refused to rule out leaving Juventus despite being in talks with the club over a new contract.
The 22-year-old has two years left on his current deal in Turin, but has been linked with a move to the Premier League. Chelsea and Manchester United have been put forward as possible destinations, and De Ligt revealed he is yet to make a decision on his future.
“Talks are being held and, when the time comes, I will decide whether I will extend or whether I want to look elsewhere,” De Ligt told NOS.
“I always look at what is best for myself in terms of sporting project. Fourth place, two years in a row, is not good enough. We will have to make steps in that direction.”
Collymore urges Liverpool to sign Bellingham
11:36 , Matt Verri
Stan Collymore has called for Liverpool to make a move for Jude Bellingham this summer.
The 18-year-old has shone in the Bundesliga since joining Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham, and Collymore has urged his former side to try and bring the midfielder back to England.
“I think that Jude Bellingham would be absolutely sensational,” Collymore told CaughtOffside.
“I was reading this morning that James Milner will be offered an extension at Liverpool, but that Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago and Milner quadruple are getting older.
“So for me, somebody like Jude Bellingham would be an absolute no brainer.”
Factors behind Lukaku decision
11:26 , Matt Verri
Romelu Lukaku‘s future at Chelsea could be linked to whether Marina Granovskaia stays at the club.
The Belgian striker had a frustrating first season back in west London, finishing as the club’s top scorer but having long spells out of the side after seemingly falling out with Thomas Tuchel.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lukaku is likely to stay at Stamford bridge if director Granovskaia does the same under the new ownership of Todd Boehly.
“It depends now on who will decide for the future of Chelsea,” he told wettfreunde.
“If Marina Granovskaia will stay or not. If she will stay, I don’t think, knowing how she fought to have Lukaku, with Inter, last summer, and say ‘you can go to Inter on loan without option to buy.”
“I think it’s really, really difficult but in football transfers you can never say impossible.”

Liverpool could be ready to join the race to sign Kalvin Phillips this summer.
Manchester City have been linked with the Leeds midfield and now Jurgen Klopp’s side are also keen on a move for Phillips, according to SPORT.

Steven Bergwijn is one of those pushing to leave north London in search of regular first-team football.
“I just need to go play. I want to leave Spurs now, that’s for sure,” Bergwijn told Dutch outlet AD.
“Is it important that my new club plays in the Champions League? That’s not my top priority. It would be nice, but what’s important is that I’m going to play.’
“I wasn’t allowed to leave Spurs in the winter and then I didn’t have any problems. But for the last few months, I was hardly looked after there.
“I want to go and play somewhere weekly. It would be nice if there was clarity soon. My situation now has to be different.”
