Trader Joe's Just Brought Back a Fan-Favorite Fall Item After 3 Years, and Shoppers are 'Crying Tears of Joy'
In my expert (and admittedly biased) opinion, there’s no better grocery store to tear your shopping cart through than Trader Joe’s in the fall. Once the weather cools and the leaves begin to turn shades of scarlet red and amber, the fan-favorite supermarket chain becomes a veritable pumpkin patch ripe for the picking (and maybe a Great Pumpkin sighting or two). Not that Walmart and Target aren’t great in their own right, but TJ’s really leans into the warm and fuzzy vibe of cozy season with products you quite literally won’t find anywhere else. And who can say no to Apple Cider Donuts?
Whether you pop in just to take in the aromas of warm spiced cinnamon wafting throughout the store, or you’ve been preparing to fill your cart with Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies, Pumpkin-O’s and All Butter Apple Shortbread Cookies since the spring, there’s bound to be something perfectly autumn-coded waiting to make its way home with you.

For diehard fans, though, the real treats are the ones that return year after year, and sometimes, TJ’s reaches back into the archives to gift us with tried-and-true fall staples we’ve been begging them to resurrect from the discontinued product graveyard.
The latest glorious relaunch to hit Trader Joe’s shelves after a rather lengthy hiatus is none other than TJ’s famous one-ingredient Organic Maple Butter, and fans on the r/traderjoes Reddit thread are legitimately going wild. Maple Butter, or maple cream as it’s called in some places, consists of sticky, sweet maple syrup that has been boiled and then whipped to a creamy, spreadable consistency perfect for slathering on muffins, biscuits or even the newly released brioche-style liege waffles.
Available in 7-ounce jars for just $4.99, this autumn-ready find is the perfect ingredient to add a little something extra to your morning cup of coffee. And if you’re really feeling fancy, you could add it as a spread to your artfully crafted seasonal charcuterie boards.
As expected, fans flooded the comments with utter joy and delight at the return of the seasonal staple with one excited shopper saying, “OMG OMG OMG IT'S BACK!!!” Our sentiments exactly. Now the only thing we’re missing is Cornbread Crisps for dipping.
